Scheduling your visit

In order to schedule your appointment with us, we’ll first need to do a consultation.

The best, most informative consultations take place in person but we can also do them over the phone in some cases.

After the consultation is complete, we’ll then need to schedule your appointment date and time.

Because of the time it takes to prepare for a tattoo session, a non refundable deposit must be left before your piece is designed. There is no exception to this policy as it mutually ensures our commitment to the appointment.

All deposits will go towards the total cost of your tattoo and the minimum deposit amount is $50.

If you are more than 30 minutes late, your deposit will be forfeited and you may lose your spot.

no show to your appointment, you will not only forfeit your deposit, but it will be required that a minimum of $100 deposit be put towards your next appointment.

Budget

We understand that budget plays a very important role in the tattoo procedure, so please discuss it with your artist beforehand. This will ensure the least amount of miscommunication possible and help keep your appointment running smoothly.

preparation

Custom ink & image was built by tattoo enthusiasts, so we’ve been under the needle plenty of times.

below we will offer some tips to get through your session as painlessly as possible.

1. Show up. Feel free to arrive anywhere up to 15 minutes early so you can get settled in, much earlier than that might rush the artist and place unnecessary stress on them.

2. please be well rested. In most cases, a tattoo application takes hours to complete, many of those hours your body spends releasing endorphins to cope with the inevitable pain. It is important that your body is running as efficiently as possible to deal with such trauma.

3. Speaking of an efficient body, please eat before your appointment. Ask any artist, the thing that makes them nervous the most is when a client hasn’t eaten. Custom Ink & Image typically has snacks on hand but please be respectful of that courtesy and eat beforehand.

4. due diligence. Familiarize yourself with the tattoo procedure and educate yourself on the science and technology behind professionally applied tattoos. Your artist will be more than happy to answer any and all questions you may have, but it helps to do your own homework.

5. Don’t listen to your friends. All too often people are nervous at the beginning of their session because a friend said it was the worst pain they’d ever felt. At Custom Ink & Image, we use high end cartridge rotary machines. This ensures the least painful experience possible during the application process.

6. And lastly, yes, we’ve all heard of the numbing creams and ointments that may or may not work, but do yourself a favor and save your money. get some sleep, grab a bite before your appointment, show up on time and you’ll be just fine.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
